Reaching Policy Makers

The Afterschool Alliance is committed to ensuring that all children have access to quality, affordable afterschool programs. Policy makers are critical allies in expanding the resources available to support afterschool programs. Not only do policy makers need to understand that afterschool programs keep kids safe, help working families and improve students' academic achievement, but also they can help identify additional resources for expanding available afterschool programs.

Use this sample invitation letter to invite policy makers to join your Lights On Afterschool! October 2008 event.
