Lights On Afterschool

There is a lot to look forward to this year; to get you excited check out these highlights from the 2009 Lights On Afterschool:

• The Empire State Building and L.A.'s Lindbergh Beacon lit up on Oct. 22 in honor of Lights On Afterschool;
• A new documentary featuring the personal stories of afterschool kids and families debuted and can also be seen on YouTube;
• The U.S. Department of Education, Secretary Duncan and the U.S. Senate celebrated Lights On Afterschool;
